A MP3 encoder is necessary for creating MP3 file. But Audio Playback Recorder supports Lame MP3 Encoder ( Lame-enc.dll
).If you want to use it, you can have Lame-enc.dll installed in the windows\system folder or the
folder of Audio Playback recorder or C driver root (C:\).
You can find Lame DLL from :
http://home.pi.be/~mk442837/
http://www.win32lame.com/
http://www.hot.ee/smpman/mp3/
http://www.jthz.com/~lame/
ftp://ftp.zlurp.com/dll/lame.DLL/
If the DLL name is not the
same as mentioned above , you can changed the DLL name to Lame-enc.DLL and
put it in the system folder or the folder where Audio Playback Recorder
installed.
Where can you place the Lame-enc.dll ?
1.You can put the Lame-enc.dll in C:\Windows\system\ or
2.Put in C driver root folder C:\ or
3.Put in c:\program Files\Audio
Playback Recorder 2.0\ ( suppose the software is installed in this
folder)
In order to record MP3 file
,you just need to change the file extension to MP3 , and suppose
you already have Lame-enc.dll installed in you system , the program will
save the recorded sound as MP3 file directly. for example:
Click on the Eject button
, type C:\ApRec.MP3 in the
edit box, then push the tape into the recorder , the recorded file will
be a MP3 file.
Also you can just press down the MP3 file button (
-> )
, the destination file will be a MP3 file.
